Club updates and events / TCC update
Last post by Monty - Aug 03, 2024, 02:11 PM
TCC Members,
Hope all have recovered from the hurricane and the weeks of rain! For those of you who have not been down to check out your trailers / lots since the storm, I would like to ask that you do so asap. High winds blew member's belongings around, damaged decks and metal roofs. The Gulf waters on the South side destroyed, damaged and moved some trailers. Grass is high, lawn service is backed up so bring your mower. Those of you who have already come down and placed storm debris in the front of your lots need to contact someone to pick it up or place it in the large dumpster, as we do not provide that type of service. Members are responsible for their lots. Remember to bring some "Cutter Backyard Bug Spray" for the mosquitoes ( it works well! ) and a can of off.... If you have any questions please let me know.
Regards,
Elizabeth Simpson

Hi all,
Power has now been restored campsite wide, the septic is working, and the water is on.  Patrick will move any sand placed in the road in front of your lot to the beach.  He will also pick up bagged debris and move that to the dumpster.  There is a large roll off dumpster in the north side dumpster area you can put debris in.  If you need help with cleanup or a teardown, contact Tim at 409-370-3001.  If you need other help, contact a B OD member as listed here: https://tcclub.info/bb/index.php?board=4.0

Club updates and events / Septic is still down, waiting ...
Last post by Monty - Jul 16, 2024, 09:13 AM
Hello all,
We hit a snag with restoring septic service to the Campground.  Power only partially came back on to the pavilion.  CP has been notified and we are waiting for them to come back out to help us out.  Members may experience the same issue with their trailer meters.  Until CP gets power to the pavilion, septic and water are down.

Club updates and events / power update, camp is open
Last post by Monty - Jul 15, 2024, 07:42 PM
Hello all,
Power is back on for the entire Campgrounds now.  The septic system is full of saltwater and is being pumped to the leach field.  Stay off the leach field while it's wet.  There doesn't appear to be any damage to our pumps, and we have spares for them, just in case.  The campground is open for members camping and cleanup.  The big dumpster is located in the dumpster enclosure on the north side of the Campground.  Give the septic system several hours to catch up.

Club updates and events / Monday update
Last post by Monty - Jul 15, 2024, 03:45 PM
Hello all,
Power to the south side of camp has been restored.  Power to the northside of camp remains off.  The Septic system runs off north side power, so it remains off.
Water is off until power is restored.  Using the septic system with power off will cause the lines from the trailers to the tanks to stop up requiring roto routing and making even more work.  Do not put anything down the septic system until we get power back to the north side.  CP is working on that diligently.
Camp is mostly picked up except for fence panels, and skirting panels.  Sand can be moved to the front off your lot in the street for pickup.  Patrick will also pick up bagged debris.  It has to be bagged.  The dumpsters all have room in them with the little ones being emptied on Mondays and Fridays.
Camp remains very wet with the water table just below the surface of the ground.  Rain is predicted later this week.
Until power is restored to the north side, overnight camping is not allowed.  Once it is restored, a notice will be given via email and posted on tcclub.info in the bottom section of notices.
